Intro to The World of Shamanism & Finding Your Power Animal
A 2-3 hour workshop, by arrangement
In this workshop, you will discover the place "in-between" where shamans & shamanic practitioners do their work. You will learn about the history, culture & "non-ordinary" aspects of reality involved in journeying, do guided meditations, become closer to Earth’s energy & discover your very own power animals & connect with them to obtain insight, direction & healing.
This is a life-changing workshop that will help you to develop a deeper emotional & spiritual bond with yourself & Nature & bring you greater understanding of your own psyche & your life’s purpose.
Bring "nest" materials for journeying (pillow, blanket, etc.), back support if you need it for sitting in circle & a journal/pen. Feel free to bring a hand drum or rattle, too, if you have one! Dress comfortably in layers, as while deeply relaxed in a journey/trance state, one’s body temperature usually becomes a bit lower, just as it does when we sleep at night.

Women’s Day of Retreat, Healing & Support

A 4-Hour Afternoon Workshop
In these remarkable times of global change, do you feel like you are “pregnant” with ideas and gifts to share within your community, but aren’t sure exactly which path to take or how to bring those ideas to fruition? Then, join us for a day of nurturing and support in a friendly circle of women, where you can explore and begin to “birth” the creative stirrings within you. You will reconnect with your authentic self and make new, helpful connections within the circle as you bring forth your true nature and the many gifts you have to share.
There will be group sharing and discussions, time for individual healing and meditation/reflection, as well as small and whole group activities for brainstorming and deeper healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. You will leave this day with a plan for how you will “birth” your new self and all the beauty within you that you know you must bring into the world now as a woman, life-giver, and healer in these times of transition.
Some of the methods used throughout the day will be sharing and learning in circle, guided meditation, breathing and movement techniques, shamanic work and various other forms of energy healing, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and sound healing, and journaling.
Please dress comfortably and wear layers, as we will do some moving around and stretching and have some time spent in meditation/reflection on the floor. Also, please bring a snack if you like for break time, as well as “nest” items, like a blanket and pillow, for meditation time and sitting in circle, and a journal and pen.

Managing Chronic Pain Naturally

This workshop will help you to become more self aware of triggers for your chronic pain issues, including migraines, headaches, back/neck pain, and other medically diagnosed conditions.
Several methods for gentle but effective natural pain management will be covered, including various types of Alternative Healing, Energy Healing (like EFT and Reiki), and other practices that can help prevent pain, such as massage, dietary changes (like detoxing and removing chemical additives from diet or removing allergens from diet), stress management techniques (such as visualization and meditation), Hypnosis, Yoga, Accupressure, and Chiropractic Care.
This workshop will inform and empower participants to try various types of natural pain management in addition to their traditional ongoing medical care. Attendees will be able to try EFT and a brief guided meditation before the workshop ends. Please dress comfortably and bring a notebook and pen. 2-3 hour workshop

This workshop will introduce, explain, and explore several different types of alternative healing (also sometimes referred to as complimentary medicine or holistic health) methods that can be used to reduce stress, ease pain, calm emotions, and heal.
Some of the modalities we will explore are: Basics of Energy Healing, Reiki, EFT, Therapeutic Touch, Accupressure and Accupuncture, Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Meditation, Herbal Remedies and Precautions, Sound and Color Healing, Chakra Healing, Hypnosis, Shamanic Healing, Chiropractic, Crystal Healing, and more.
Bring a journal and pen and be prepared to take notes, ask questions and discuss your experiences. If time allows, we will try one or two of the types of healings listed. Please dress comfortably. 3-4 hour workshop

Guided Meditation for Relaxation & Health

Have you ever wanted to learn new ways to relax and prevent stress from getting the best of you? Do you have a New Year's resolution you really want to keep this year? Did you know that you are able to take suggestions in a meditative state and see the same results as with hypnosis? It's true! Meditation is good for your mind and body, and can help you learn to handle stress, and even change habits that no longer suit you.
In this workshop, many different modalities for relaxation and meditation will be taught and practiced by participants. We will learn about proper breathing techniques, progressive relaxation, autogenic training, positive visualization, mantras, mandalas, and several types of meditation, including Transcendental, Shamanic, and even Labyrinth Walking. Wear comfortable layered clothing. Bring a journal and pen, a pillow/back support, and a blanket or sleeping bag for meditation.
