Harmony Way Virtual (Drug-Free) Core Shamanic Gathering

1:00-3:00 PM EST

(Free Event on Zoom, Advance Registration Necessary)

Do you crave heart-centered connection with others in a safe, peace-filled environment? Are you an introvert who is shy, but who also loves to have deep conversations? Have you participated in other shamanic events or trainings at Harmony Way or elsewhere? Are you curious about core shamanic healing or what it involves? If so, this is the event for you!

Even if you have no previous experience in shamanic work, you are welcome here.

There will be a talking/sharing circle filled with compassion and love, followed by a shamanic journey. (For those who do not know how to journey, this time can alternately be used for other types of meditation or prayer, so no worries!) This is a 100% experiential group event, NOT an educational class.

If you are interested, please contact us with a note that contains your name and email to be added to the list. Space is limited.

This Month's Exercise Demos:

(From: SELF)

(From: Get Fit With Rick)

Here are two great options to get moving in a way that feels best for your personal needs. There is a 30 minute HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout and an additional walking workout that takes only eight minutes. If you are a beginner or only have a few minutes, the walking workout is a terrific choice. For those with more fitness experience, the HIIT workout may bring the challenge you need. Both are terrific options for exercise!

Always check in with your medical health provider for advice before starting a new workout program, being mindful of any existing conditions or injuries that you have, bringing these up with a medical professional prior to trying any workout.

This Month's Wellness Articles:

(From: Northwestern Medicine)

(From: NIH)

Above are two terrific, evidence-based articles that are absolutely necessary for January. Many people experience SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) in the colder, less sunny months. Mental health tips can prove to be helpful tools to stay more present, compassionate and balanced during this sometimes challenging time of year. There is also a great article about cold weather safety specifically geared to those who are seniors/who work with seniors/who care for senior citizens.

This Month's Yummy Recipe Links:

(From: Ambitious Kitchen)

Gluten-Free, Vegan

(From: Hurry the Food up)

Vegan, Gluten-Free Options, Nut-Free Options

Hot chocolate, anyone? January brings some of the coldest weather of the year in Massachusetts...so, yes, please! There is a slightly healthier (but still completely delicious) version of hot chocolate above that happens to be 100% dairy-free as well. Additionally, in case you ever get the food "blahs" or are bored with your current soup rotation, but need something warming, there is also a link to 18 different phenomenal winter soup recipes that are healthy and have many different options for various health needs. I hope these recipes help you to stay warm and cozy.

PS This is a little note to remind you that you are important, that you are special and that you are deeply loved and appreciated exactly the way you are right now.

Sending you warmth this January!

💖Michelle
